But if I forget to hit Start/Menu again, it can start interfering with movement or other controls, since it's still detecting my left stick as the mouse movement and A and B as left or right mouse clicks. And the only way to stop this is to press Start/Menu again. ![]() Stuff like that is a minor annoyance at the best of times, and incredibly aggravating and intrusive at the worst of times. And so I need to hit B again or do some other ridiculous combo of buttons or actions just to exit the screen. When I press B to exit the inventory screen, because "mouse mode" or whatever was activated when I hit Start/Menu to open the screen, it acts like I right or left-clicked the item with the mouse. In some games, it's not immediately noticeable until say, for example: I press Start/Menu to open the inventory screen in Destiny 2, I do whatever it is I need to do, and let's say I left the cursor hovering over an item. I am now on Windows 10 21H1, and the issue persists. ![]() Any time I pause a game, open a menu tied to the Start/Menu button, or press the Start/Menu button because it is bound as a control in something like a simulator, it activates mouse control. This is incredibly aggravating as it is interfering with all of my games. ![]() After I updated to Windows 10 20H2, Windows suddenly started detecting and using my Xbox Series S|X controller as a mouse whenever I would hit Start/Menu.
